INTERNSHIP
An invaluable learning experience at Parklife Group
In 2018, I was privileged to undertake an internship with Parklife Group as part of my final year of study. Such an internship was only offered to those designers who had achieved impressive grades and would be sure to represent the university impeccably.
The main project I undertook while completing my internship was the Get Set Go magazine. More information on this project can be found here.
I was not the only intern at Parklife, I was lucky enough to be accompanied by another graphic design intern and a creative writing intern too. We all diligently worked on the Get Set Go magazine together, and had a great time!
As part of my internship commitment, I kept a detailed journal of everything that happened every day I attended. This included documents, images, my creations and inspiration.
Not only was this internship an invaluable design experience but also a great introduction to the practicalities and advantages of collaborative work-spaces. The Parklife Group office was located in The Collaborative Factory and is owned and managed by three women entrepreneurs.
